Brenda Tetreault is from a small town in The Pacific Northwest. She began writing for her friends while in high school and she has always had stories to tell.

In 2005 she began in earnest to write her first novel and was determined to finally make one of her stories available to everyone.

In 2009 The Witcher Legacy: Book One of the Bounty Cove Chronicles, finally saw print and from then on, Brenda would continue to write whenever she had free time.

In 2012, Prophecies and Destinies: Book Six of The Bounty Cove Chronicles was completed. Since regaining the rights to her first series, she has given The Bounty Cove Chronicles an update and as of 2026, all six books are now available.​​​​

Brenda has not run out of stories to tell. She has been included in an anthology of short stories and is hard at work on the 7th book in her current series, The Nightshade Saga.​​​
